Need to display a notification or message when a user logs in to your vSphere Client?

We can use the Message of the Day feature in the vSphere Client to display a message for informational purposes such as upcoming maintenance or other reminders for users logging in to vCenter.

Log in to the vSphere client > Select the desired vCenter > Select the Configure Tab > Select Message of the Day > Click Edit

Enter your message in to the text area > Click OK

You will now see the message you just input saved in the Settings.

Now when anyone logs in to the vSphere Client, they’ll have the message displayed in a banner at the top of the page.

This can be closed but will return at next log in.
